Cassie Kang
Founder & Wealth Advisor
Cassie’s extensive knowledge in insurance and banking began at MetLife in 2004. She gained greater perspective and experience in the industry by subsequently working at Citigroup. She learned a great deal from having worked at these two multi-national firms with vast resources and training. However, she felt often conflicted and did not find the appeal at being encouraged to market certain products over others. So she left the international banking and brokerage space and took a leap of faith on the road less traveled by joining a boutique firm that specialized in entertainment clients.
There, she learned how to create and manage investment portfolios, and manage an advisory practice. Eventually, she rose to the Executive Director position and was responsible for overseeing the management of all the investment accounts across different platforms and custodians. She developed intuitive proficiency and intimate knowledge of what some of the writers, producers, actors, directors and studio executives faced working in the ever-changing entertainment industry, by harnessing collaborative working relationship with their business managers and lawyers.
Cassie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a minor in Business from University of Southern California. She also received a Professional Designation in Apparel Manufacturing and Management from the Fashion Institute of Merchandising and Design (FIDM) while simultaneously working at ESPN/ABC Sports and the Media/Advertising industry right out of college.
Cassie loves to empower women, creative souls, visionaries, underdogs, entrepreneurs, and dreamers. She has respect and appreciation for those who are not afraid to forego the immediate pleasures of life for their future visions. Our plans are carefully crafted by balancing these two sides, and monitored to navigate through constant shifts and changes life brings. Cassie is an avid traveler and researcher. During her free time, she loves to read, write, see musicals, hike, train in competitive sports, and practice martial arts.
